2019 — Rough voice, cheerful disposition and resolute manner: Sabrina from Hamburg is full-time manager of several second-hand stores of a Hamburg-based employment agency. Her zest for life is hard-won. When she was diagnosed with HIV almost 30 years ago, it was her supposed death sentence.

Today, her life expectancy is no longer lower than that of non-infected people. She has found her courage to live again.

Sabrina is the winner of the Pride Award 2017, which the transsexual received for her many years of voluntary work with AIDS-Hilfe Hamburg. Performed educational work at the job center, at the Chamber of Crafts and with doctors.

This photo was taken during a walk with her.
